On hidden trails in Eifel Range along the Rhine-Ahr-Valley
Rhineland - Palatinate
Riders: 2 - 4 riders
Tack: Western
Horses: Morgan, Warmblood (15 -15.2 hands) Guest horses are welcome
Pacing: moderate, walk, trot and canter 4-5 hours per day
Duration: Halfday, Fullday rides or trips of 2 ½ – 5 days
Join us on relaxing trail rides through the hills and forests of Germany's Eifel ranges.
The Eifel is famous amongst horse and nature lovers for its endless of trails
and quaint destinations nestled in untouched countryside.
Our wooden lodge or farmhouse is located on a foothill
overlooking the valley and the rural village Königsfeld, surrounded by forest.
We would love to take you on relaxing dayrides with our experienced horses.
On our tours you will be able to enjoy deep lush valleys, rolling hills, enchanting German villages
and long distance views into the Rhine Valley or the steep vineyards of the Ahr Valley.
For lunch we might stop for a „Schnitzel“ in a traditional inn or enjoy a picnic on the trail.
We will continue leisurely in the afternoon to return to our idyllic resort.
For dinner we would love to spoil you with home cooked specialities and local wine.
(On request we organize Pack trips and overnight stays at distant destinations)
We are close to some famous castles and sites of the Rhine and Ahr Valley.
You might have to spend some more days here to explore the Bridge of Remagen,
the spa resort Bad Neuenahr or the charming village Ahrweiler with its half timber wood houses and medieval city wall.
Your German hostess is a professional tour guide, fluent in English, Swedish and French and is looking forward to sharing with you stories about local customs and traditions.
